A feature that adds an element of usability to the client, allowing them to navigate through the website with greater ease.

When you have foreseen all the departmental needs that a client might have, then appropriate a name and a link to those departments. These links will then guide the client automatically to the area that will service their needs without needing to search for it.

An additional menu is designed for a page that has a lot of content in there, increasing the accessibility of each page.

Eg. Electrical Products Page which contains 50 products on one page.
These 50 products identify a foreseeable scenario of five categories. These categories being:

• Televisions
• Stereos
• Whitegoods
• Computers
• Cameras

By creating a link to each of these product categories in your additional menu, the client is able to get to the product category with greater ease. The location and the format (i.e Vertical style or horizontal style) of the additional link menu will be determined by the availability of the space leftover on the page. Thus, is there is space left in the left colum of the page, a vertical style menu will be implemented. If there space under the header, in the mid section of the page, then a horizontal style menu will be implemented.
